Are units ground-level or do you have elevators?
Most of our facilities are ground level which makes things easy. The exceptions are Northwest Storage and Bulldog Storage both have some units on a second level, both facilities having a convenient freight elevator.

How much does a storage unit cost?
Will I be charged for a full month if I move in mid-month?
Nope. Your first month is prorated, so you only pay for the days you actually use. After that, billing switches to the regular monthly rate.
How can I get a discount on a self-storage unit?
Military/Veteran Discount: $25 off per month
Multi-unit Discount: 10% off additional units (applies to units of equal or lesser value)
Advance Pay Discount: 5% discount for prepaying 6 months, 10% discount for prepaying 12 months

Are there any hidden fees?
What payment methods do you accept?
What happens if my payment is late?
Rent is always due on the 1st of the month. If payment isn’t received by the 10th, a $10 late fee is added. Another $10 fee is applied on the 20th if it’s still unpaid. Access can be denied anytime once the account is late.

When can I access my unit?
Daily access for most of our locations is 24/7. Our gated facilities, Northwest Storage and Durose Storage, allow access with your assigned gate code from 5:00 am – 10:00 pm.
Is drive-up access available?
What happens if I forget my gate code?
No worries-just give us a call 970-824-6464 and we’ll help you out.
Do I need my own lock?
Who can access my unit?
What happens if the facility closes due to weather or emergencies?
We’ll keep you in the loop through your tenant portal and provide updates as needed.
How do I rent a unit?

Is there a minimum rental period?
How do I move out?
What items are not allowed?
For safety reasons, hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items aren’t allowed. If you’re unsure of something, just ask us.
Can I store vehicles, boats, or RVs?
Yes — we offer storage for vehicles, motorcycles, boats, RVs, etc. Availability may vary, so recommend contacting us to confirm space and sizing. We’ll need copy of your registration and picture of what you are parking.
Can I use my unit as a workspace?
No — units are for storage only and can’t be used for living or working.
Do I need insurance?
While we take security seriously, we recommend that customers carry insurance for their stored belongings. Some homeowners or renters insurance policies may provide coverage, or we can discuss storage insurance options with you.
Do you provide carts or dollies?
Some locations do. Just check with us ahead of time if you’ll need one.
Do you sell packing supplies?
Yes — boxes, locks, and packing supplies are available at our office at 1592 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.

You can update everything through your RentCafe tenant portal or by giving us a call.
