Do you offer trailers and trucks for moving?

Yes! We are a U-Haul dealer. Moving trucks are available for pick up 24/7 and moving trailers are available during office hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

How do I choose the right unit size?

The right size totally depends on what you’re storing. Small units are great for boxes, seasonal items, or skis and snowboards, while larger units can hold furniture, appliances, or business inventory.  If you’re unsure, our team is happy to help you choose the best size. If you want a quick idea first, our online size guide is also a great place to start.

 

Can I change unit sizes later?

Yep, absolutely. If your needs change, you can upgrade or downsize anytime (as long as we’ve got availability). We’ll handle the new lease, and any credit from your current unit rolls right over.

 

Do you offer climate-controlled and/or heated storage?

At this time, we don’t offer climate-controlled or heated units — but our units are clean, secure, and well-maintained to keep your belongings protected year-round.

 

Are units ground-level or do you have elevators?

Most of our facilities are ground level which makes things easy. The exceptions are Northwest Storage and Bulldog Storage both have some units on a second level, both facilities having a convenient freight elevator.

 

Do any of your storage locations have security cameras?

Yes! Several locations are camera-equipped:

How much does a storage unit cost?

Pricing varies based on size, features, and availability. You’ll see pricing listed for individual units by looking at our Rates & Sizes, or you can always give us a call at 970-824-6464 and we’ll walk you through it.

Will I be charged for a full month if I move in mid-month?

Nope. Your first month is prorated, so you only pay for the days you actually use. After that, billing switches to the regular monthly rate.

How can I get a discount on a self-storage unit?

Military/Veteran Discount:        $25 off per month

Multi-unit Discount:                      10% off additional units (applies to units of equal or lesser value)

Advance Pay Discount:                5% discount for prepaying 6 months, 10% discount for prepaying 12 months

Are there any hidden fees?

No surprises here. All fees are disclosed upfront. There is a one-time $20 administrative fee at lease signing to cover setup and processing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank accounts and offer easy online and automatic payment options.

What happens if my payment is late?

Rent is always due on the 1st of the month. If payment isn’t received by the 10th, a $10 late fee is added. Another $10 fee is applied on the 20th if it’s still unpaid. Access can be denied anytime once the account is late.

Can rental rates increase?

Rates can change over time, but if that happens, you’ll always be notified in advance.

What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday. Our office is located at 1592 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.

When can I access my unit?

Daily access for most of our locations is 24/7. Our gated facilities, Northwest Storage and Durose Storage, allow access with your assigned gate code from 5:00 am – 10:00 pm.

Is drive-up access available?

Yes, many units have drive-up access. Just check with us before renting so we can confirm availability.

What happens if I forget my gate code?

No worries-just give us a call 970-824-6464 and we’ll help you out.

Do I need my own lock?

Yes, tenants provide their own lock. If you need one, we sell locks at our office at 1592 W. Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.

Who can access my unit?

Only you- and anyone you authorize. may access your unit. If maintenance ever needs access, we’ll always get your approval first.

 

What happens if the facility closes due to weather or emergencies?

We’ll keep you in the loop through your tenant portal and provide updates as needed.

How do I rent a unit?

Renting a unit is simple. You can rent by clicking ‘Rent A Space’ at the top of this page, or by calling our Team direct at 970-824-6464. You can also pop into our office to rent a space. We’re located at  1592 W. Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.

What do I need to move in?

Just a signed lease, a valid photo Id, and a payment method.

 

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes, we have a 10-day minimum. Our rentals are offered on a month-to-month basis, unless stated otherwise, so you can store for as long or as short as you need.

 

How do I move out?

We just need a 10-day written notice, which you can submit by clicking the “Notice to Vacate” on our website.

 

What items are not allowed?

For safety reasons, hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items aren’t allowed. If you’re unsure of something, just ask us.

Can I store vehicles, boats, or RVs?

Yes — we offer storage for vehicles, motorcycles, boats, RVs, etc. Availability may vary, so recommend contacting us to confirm space and sizing. We’ll need copy of your registration and picture of what you are parking.

Can I use my unit as a workspace?

No — units are for storage only and can’t be used for living or working.

Do I need insurance?

While we take security seriously, we recommend that customers carry insurance for their stored belongings. Some homeowners or renters insurance policies may provide coverage, or we can discuss storage insurance options with you.

Do you provide carts or dollies?

Some locations do. Just check with us ahead of time if you’ll need one.

Do you sell packing supplies?

Yes — boxes, locks, and packing supplies are available at our office at 1592 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625.

How do I prepare my items for storage?

You can update everything through your RentCafe tenant portal or by giving us a call.
